I think he's referring to the responses Mr. Canfield gave to at least one of the questions if not all. Anyway, it's a very interesting and eye opening link.

Part swapping is killing it. At some point "corrected" pieces outnumber genuine. His subject is shotguns, but the problem applies to all types.

I correct, but only when it makes sense now. The days of blanket parts buying to make everything I own right are over just based on expense alone. Imagine though, it only took about 5 or 6 years to get to this point!

It doesn't take much to see beyond the first row of trees and see what was coming. I spent way too much time ragging on this subject and P.O.'d a bunch of people in the process. It takes the shine off of the hobby, not trusting anybody anymore.

I was talking about a discussion we were having on bring backs and Values how they try to advertise they bougt or selling a bring back M1and some responses he has given.Mainly bring backs are not worth what there asking when you see someone selling one even those are not all correct..sorry, for the late response, my Tablet just arrived today from being repaired, i was using my cell and the website looks totally different. Thanks

I actually agree with you totally. Let's face it guys, as buyers or just general collectors we have to be on top of our game looking at M1
carbines in todays' market. I personally try and disclose everthing I can think of when I sell one. However, I know I forget to include information, but will try my best to make up for it somehow.
