I believe if you turn the bayonet around so that it reads from the guard to the pommel, you will find the initials are UFH and this will be followed by a 4 or 5 digit number. Probably covered up by some of the grease and gunk. Looks like a Greek return by the CMPicon in 2010 from the number on the guard, and the finish does appear to be the Greek refinish commonly called "Greek Black". See: Bayo_Points_40
