    I have also seen at least one M1903A3 marked with M1903 markings. Keep in mind that at this time, Remington was transitioning from M1903s to M1903A3s (a period that lasted several months) and I'm not surprised that an "oops" of this nature happened. If that particular rifle is for sale, I'd certainly be interested!!
