Hello from Scotland
Hi All,
Good looking Forum here.
I'm 68 been shooting for around 50 years, started with my local Territorial Royal Artillery unit where we were using 303 Lee Enfields, 303 Brens and MkV Stens. Eventually were issued with 7.62 L1A1s. All great fun but the best shooting experience has to be firing a 25Pdr Field Gun in the anti tank roll launching a 20Lb Tungsten projectile with around four pounds of NH025 Cordite at 1800fps, and in those days we were not issued ear protection.
Presently Member of three shooting clubs, enjoy Clays, Full Bore and Rimfire. Used to mainly shoot Handguns until Gun Confiscation after Dunblane.
My favourite Fullbore is a 303 P14 in original condition.

Glad I was able to find this site. I've caught the itch to collect after having the funds to support my habit, and currently own 8 military surplus rifles (US and British
only so far). I've already read quite a bit on here, and look forward to learning more as my collection grows. Thanks!

New member with a question
Hello, new to this forum and I can't believe how much great information is available here. As a member of the Garand
forum I see some of the folks here also. Being somewhat new to the 03 I have a question. I see a Remington receiver marked Model 1903 sn: 3352548 , The rifle is an 03A3. Is this normal for a rifle in that serial number range?[COLOR="black"]
