Christmas truce ceremonies.
Was just wondering if any of you were taking part in the observations of the 100th anniversary of the Christmas truce. Would have loved to have been a part of that. Would like to hear about any experiences!

I was wondering why I had not heard of any observations. Were there any and if so where?

Thanks!
The 1914 Christmas Truce has to be one of the most poignant and at the same time uplifting stories in modern history.

Here's my favorite seasonally appropriate movie...
There's various low quality versions floating around YouTube, but for those that want a an HD version with no buffering problems, we host this full length feature every year for all our members, playable in full screen and Dolby sound ..
Joyeux Noel (2005) - Full Length Feature Movie (1 Hour - 55 minutes)

The Queen made a point of mentioning it in her Christmas message this year, other wise have heard nothing.
Was interesting as in the background was one of the 1914 Princess Mary gift tins for the troops, I have my grandfathers which was the writing set one which still has the card and the 303 pencil inside.
For Peter Laidler
the Headstamp is K14 VII (dead easy).
