In eastern PA, a Carcano M38 won't sell for more than $250.00 no matter what the condition. That seems to be the starting price for all but they end up going for $200 usually. Sounds like yours stands a good chance of being a Finn rifle with SA marks. Most 7.35's are. Sporterized, you're looking at less than $100.
The thing with gunbroker and other auction sites is that people list things for all sorts of prices. The "value" that matters is what a buyer is willing to pay for it, not what a seller wants to sell it for. Check the bid prices, not the sale prices.Information
