If the bullet tips are pointed, they are GP11. If they are rounded they are GP90/03. If they are rounded and paper patched, they are GP90.

The Swissicon say that GP11 is to be fired in 1889 rifles in emergency wartime only. The pressure is much higher than the GP90 and the bolt locking lugs are not as strong.

I would recommend you do not shoot them in an 1889.
