1903 bolt id..
hi all.. new guy here. did a search of the site looking to ID a bolt, and found some interesting threads but no pictures - busted links..
so here goes - I have a CMP
1903 a Greek mixmaster. it has a Rock Island receiver 367976 which would put it 1918/19.. I think..

I've owned a couple of years, and have shot it a bit and enjoyed it.
so here is my question - it came with what I guess is a Remington bolt? I have read Brophy's book (dangerous, I know
) and have been looking for parts to kind of revert it to a good representation of an orig RI. not looking for perfect, just better than where it is..
Here are pictures of 2 bolts, the top one the orig CMP supplied and the lower one a bolt I picked up.

quite a bit different, the ends, safety lever,

also - it has a NS on the lug..

so what do you think - legit RI bolt ? is the original one a rem a3 bolt?
thanks for any help.. im just down the road from Anniston, was planning on getting it to them for some refit with the RI parts and a criterion barrel, since I don't hold much hope out for a RI barrel..

The NS bolt would be correct for a late Rock Island M1903.
