Well, we did have a drill for that.

Reminds me of Sgt Boitnott in Korea who had his spotter stand up to draw sniper fire, then shot the muzzle flash
Real men measure once and cut.

Also reminds me of the Civil War general whose troops were cowering in their trenches under Reb fire... he stood up and yelled, "Don't worry, boys, they couldn't hit a barn at this distance!" Wham! a sniper shot him dead.
Real men measure once and cut.
