*** color fill ***
I think I have found my medium for all my “Color Fill” needs. My daughter bought this for herself, but found she could only get one hand done right, and didn’t like them as plain nail polish, so she was throwing them away. I had seen how small the dots were that she could make, so I decided to try it on my latest AR-15 project. The fine pen tip applicator is just the right size to fit in the engraving. A simple squeeze allows good control of application. Let it set for a minute or two, and wipe over with a nail polish remover dampened “Q-Tip”, DONE!
These are only $10.00 for a set of 6 colors at Wal-Mart, there are two different sets (Basic Beauty and Glitz & Glam). I will be on the lookout for the other color set, now I know they work.
B. B. set; Red, Green, White, Hot Pink, Blue, Black.
G. & G. set; Silver, Paradise Pink, Crushed Berry, Orange, Purple, Yellow.
If you have wanted to try a “Color Fill” on your gun, I highly recommend these.

This is going to be my last AR build (more $$$ than sense). It is a tribute to Eugene Stoner & Benjamin Tyler Henry, I will call it a “Stoner Yellow Boy”.
It started out as a M16A1 parts kit with, new 20”, pencil profile, 1-8 twist, chrome lined barrel, which I paid too much for a couple years ago. The lower is a Royal Arms billet from AIMSurplus, the S/N and maker stamping are on the underside of trigger guard (clean sides). The upper, lower, and FSB, were cerakoted in bright yellow. I just received the walnut furniture set from “Ironwood Designs”. After a liberal oil finish is applied I think they will look NICE! I have a Black Nitride C158 BCG from AIM that I got as part of a trade deal. This should stand out real good against the yellow of the receiver. A few other little accessories; custom magazine catch, bolt catch, dust cover, KNS pins, etc. I have laying around. The last couple big $ items I need to get are; Armageddon AR15 Gas Busting Ambidextrous Charging Handle, Hiperfire 24E Hipertouch trigger, and JP Enterprises Silent Captured Spring.
Like I said, MORE $$$ THAN SENSE!
Why? Because I can.
I’ll keep this updated if anyone is interested.
Here are a few pictures of parts trial fitting. I hope that gives an idea of how the finished gun will turn out.

Seems like I first saw wooden hand guards in the mid to late '80s. Complete sets early '90s?
