As far asI can tell, my sks was manufactured in 1958. But the numbers on the all wood stock do not match number everywhere else. Oh, and I'm a new member, hello...

Hello All
New to this forum.
Seeking information about the MAS Mle 1936 that I purchased yesterday.
Have found dies and brass so will start loading by the end of the week, hopefully.
The bore appears to be perfect.
Anyone out there have any experience with this rifle?
Can a scope be mounted?
What kind of accuracy can one expect from the 1936?
Is the rear sight adjustable for windage?
Thanks,
Gary

Welcome aboard.
How about some photos of your SKS? What country made it?

New member from Florida and relatively new to collecting milsurps. Basically I am here to learn and drool all over the photos.

Hi everyone, new member here to this forum. I'm sort of a self taught gunsmith and been doing it for about 5 years now. I've found that these forums can be wealth of information and look forward to learning a lot from this one. Thanks for having me.

First post! I'm interested in American milsurps mostly.
