Ww2 USMC duffle bag with artwork

Hey everyone. Here's another one of my ebay purchases. I couldn't find anything on the soldier but I tried to see which units were at all of the battles listed on the duffle bag and the only unit I could find that was at every one of them was the 4th marine defense battalion(though if any other unit was at all of these battles than please correct me). I loved the artwork on this bag and I hope you guys like it as well. Personalized pieces like this are what I always hope to find at shows but seemingly can never find. I have the pieces that my dad personalized (his knife, sea bag, and helmet cover among other things) so to me finding this is a treasure. It not only gives some basic info on the soldier himself but I get to have a peek into his personality at the time he drew this stuff. Hope you all like this bag and any comments are welcome.

We here often lament "if this gun could talk" well that bag actually does. Really nice piece.

Thanks hooked. I know it spoke to me when I saw it online. I knew I just had to have it for my collection as it makes a perfect companion for my dad's personalized sea bag. I just love the vintage artwork on this bag as well as this soldier's story with him being at some of the most famous battles of the pacific.
