My 1913 has a small steel eyecup instead of the big rubber one. It has cuts in the base to allow it to be compression fit in the eyecup ring. Is this a commercial aftermarket part to replace the rubber eyecup? No markings. It's very well machined.

How do you clean them properly so as not to damage it? My reticle is pretty dirty, it is also rotated a bit to the right, I want to try to straighten it in any event.

I have a Model of 1913 Warner & Swasey and I think there is a part missing from the Windage Adjustment part of the mount.

Looking at the PLATE II sectional drawing of the Model of 1913 it shows a part number 54 which is missing on my scope. Does anybody know what material part number 54 is made from?
    Best regards
    ChrisW
