Irish (?) contract No4 rifles

I'm interested in the "Irish Contract", if only because it may shed some light on what happened to the several thousand 1956 No. 4 Mk. 2's that should still be out there somewhere.

I own one, I know another fellow who owns one, have seen a picture of a third, and Skennerton has an illustration in his book that shows a 1956 date. Those are the only ones I'm aware of.
