Carding brushes
Anyone else other than Brownells who do carding brushes for rust blueing. Brownells UK do them but are not the price you would pay for them in the US. A large carding hand brush from the US is $12 or £7. Brownells UK sell the same brush for £10 plus £8 postage, plus they don't have the smaller brush in stock in the US or the UK. These brushes have to be posted from the US to the UK, you may just as well get them direct from from the US yourself. What brushes do the UK gunsmith trade use. Is there a specialist brush maker who makes such brushes. A bore type brush of the same softness would be handy to have as well.

Don't waste your money. Stick with the 0000 steel wool on your homemade tooling, degreased of course. The use of a hard tooth brush and pipe cleaners in some cases is handy too. I have the Brownells brush and honestly it's too aggressive. If your going to get into doing more projects a humidity box will serve you well. My son built this one for me, not bad for 16yr old.
