    Range time

    Took her to the range today for the last time before starting the refinishing work.

    I certainly have an awful lot of respect for anyone who can shoot accurately at 100+ yards with the 300/600 flip sight.

    At 100 yds my "groups" were confined mainly to somewhere/anywhere within an 14" x 14" target. I had the sense to make sure none of the shots were so close to each other as to make counting the holes difficult.

    I have a lot more practicing to do.

    Depends on your age... That's just a matter of having better than our aging eyesight. I recall some pretty damn good groups from iron sights when we were all much younger...
