Accross the course loads???
I want to start shooting accross the course matches with my 1:7 White Oak Service rifle upper AR15. I do pretty good at the local reduced to 200 yards service rifle matches and have even won the match. I have been using 69grain HPBT with 23.5 grains of 2230. This will probably do well on the 300 line as it does really well for me at the 200 yard line. What do I want to use at the 600 yard line bullet and powder wise? Thank you

With the 7" twist, you can expect good results at 600 with the 75-80 grain VLD's from Berger and JLK, the 75-grain A-Max, and the 80-grain MatchKing. RL-15 and Varget are popular powder choices for these.
How much powder to use will depend on where you have to seat them to fit your rifle's throat - and that will change significantly by next season if you shoot a full schedule of matches.

I shoot the Hornady HPBT 75gr at short range and Sierra MK 80gr at 600 using Varget. The 69gr bullets you use are very good and actually shoot smaller groups in my gun than do my 75's but not enough to make up for the advantage in bucking wind at 300yds the heavier bullet gives me.
The bullets Parashooter mentions are also highly thought of.
Since the 600 yd stage is all slowfire, you can seat the heavier bullet out for a longer COL, just stay out of the rifling.

Twinson, I have used 77 smk for 2&3 and 80 smk at 600. the 77's I load to mag lenght with 24.5 of varget. the 80's are .020 short of the lands also with 24.5 of varget. some folks use 77's at 600 which can work ok if there is very little wind. if you have a Krieger barrel, than you may need to drop the charge a little, tighter barrel = more pressure. these are loads that worked well for me and several other folks have used it with good results. remember that 600 is about reading the wind. hold hard and have fun.
