New to group and first time posting.

I have a .30 cal carbine with serial number 332878.

Does any one know a link where I can find more about this rifle?

Can't find any markings showing it was a military issued rifle.

The ring of the receiver where the bolt closes should have 'U.S. Carbine Cal. .30 M1'. Pull the slide back to see it clearly.
