Newbie here, good to be aboard
While I am new to Milsurps.com, I have been collecting military surplus (mainly WWII) firearms and accessories for about 20 years. My favorite piece is my CMP
Garand
. About 10 years ago I began collecting US Civil War-era weaponry as well. It is great to find a community of like-minded individuals in Milsurps.com.

Hello members, I have never posted anything here or any other forum. Please be patient with me. Thank you.
I have a couple of Swiss
rifles (K31 and 1911). Looking to buy a ZFK55 in the best possible condition. If any one is selling (or knows who is selling one) I'd appreciate a word.
Thanks again.

Hello from Kansas
I'm not really a collector, since I have little knowledge...OR MONEY!~) I'm here to learn a bit here and there.
I do have a few surplus guns but nothing really unique.

Howdy from San Diego
Hi from San Diego...older gent here (older than dirt)...began my "career" with the old military surplus rifles when I worked in a gun shop in Northern Colorado in the '50's. Those were the days of the $25 rifles. I don't hunt any more...I do some rifle and handgun shooting just for fun and do a bit of loading as I feel like it..also began loading in the '50's.
I'm not a collector...just a plinker and shooter. I've been lurking off and on so thought I'd come say hello

I joined the forum so I could find and offer various parts. I recently acquired an "un cut" Springfield op rod for an M1
. If you are looking for one to help complete a correct rifle contact me. I would have to have an op rod in good condition to replace this one.

G'day,
Just began the slippery slope of looking for my first 303. Was given an old pressed tin range chest that came with accessories for shooting a 303.
No better reason I thought to get myself one, get into service rifle shoots and use the range chest. A bit like buying my recent 4wd to suit a set of sniny new Mickey Thompson alloy rims I had NIB going to waste for 18 months
Anyhow,
Retired after 20 years RAAF, reborn as a civvy yeh !!
Back into shooting and enjoying my time away from being a staffer. This collecting of bang sticks is pricey but hopefully I find the 303 I want and that can be my last buy for a decade or two...maybe. Stop laughing now
