please help identify this canteen

yes the cap looks just like that - the metal 'stud' has a tight fitting ring around it which on vincents photo has a string attached - on my cap the string is missing but i can now see where it was attached - i guess the string was used to stop the cap going missing and it is not a valve

it would be helpful to know an exact model number
