I have 2 1927s. The one you are referring to has been DP'd. I do not shoot it but it is a nice matching rifle. Mainly buy ones I can shoot but it is / was a rarer year. May be a challenge but trying to get one

As for the 1925. All the serial numbers were ground off. I can just make out the B on the rear sight. It was given the new serial number in

. Not sure if it was done during or post war. My guess is post war as a hunting rifle. I did some research but found very little. Without taking it out again I believe it was WWF with a circle. Had some post on it for Milsurps to reference.
Thank for the information on the 1917. It came to me as a synthetic stock sporter. Kind of a shame but eventually I will work on putting it back together somewhat. Rare to see H stocks for sale. Too many that need rescue.
