Thanks for the info. I was pretty excited when I started to research the serial numbers of the various parts. From the vague information I have gleaned, this gun was owned by my wife's grandfather and he may have brought it home with him at the end of WWII. I have it apart now ready to clean as it is in great shape, but in much need of cleaning as the grease use has hardened a bit.It has the patch/cartouche S.A - S.H.M on stock with of course the cannons and the "P."
