We had three M1D rifles in my company, they were never used with the flash hider

Bill, The M1D's in my company were all H&R rifles too ! That was the first time we ever saw a H&R M1

Interesting picture. Other reports and opinions aside, the picture speaks for itself regarding the use of flash hiders..... at least in this one case.
Mark, was there any further info or caption with that picture?
