Bayonets on while still on board ship...not likely. But looks pretty good. The near man is wearing one of those equipment vests we see so seldom.

Perhaps practice for D-DAY OR D+1 with all the troops landing I am sure not all of them followed the rule book

That's not from the rule book. That's just too dangerous for anyone to do. No one would even suggest fixing bayonets before scramble nets or landing craft. Sorry...

I know you would come up with that Mark. That's AFTER they're IN the landing craft. I'm guessing you've never done any of this...right? Those guys still have to get into the landing craft. Usually by scramble net. Now, enough...or would you rather I just tell you you're right...
