There's lots of picture expose's that can be referred to for that. You need a clear pic of each side, close ups of the action and just ahead of the action, any and all markings...

It looks like a bog standard and very nice Enfield military conversion to me. Many of the commercial conversions don't sport the "SHT. .22 Mk.IV/IV*" markings on the butt socket but will be marked on the top of the Knox on the barrel as BSA, AJP, P-H etc.

Is there anything stamped on the butt? The Australian military conversions will usually have a month/year stamped somewhere, alongside the No. 2 Mk IV designation, if that helps.

No markings on the butt. The buttstock appears to have repaired in several places. The area where the metal disk would normally be has been inlayed with wood and sanded.
