I was 'going for it' but its already reached beyond my meagre allowance with 24 hours still to go.
Still saving up for the No1 Mk3HT
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

Uggh! I too saw it. I'm away from my books, would an earlier 1915-16 era rifle be "proper" for this sight?

I know where there is one for sale, in the process of negotiating when sadly some serious family issues arose that have resulted in a big change in direction of some 'major' expenditure.
The 'gun-fund' is starting again from a low base.

Yes, the great Aussie Peso certainly make things expensive.

Just a couple of years ago the Aust $ was such good value. So good that when my wife was out there she spent so many £'s that she asked me to send her some more!
