    Andy,
    Perhaps topic for another thread, but I am totally behind you on the use of these venerable weapons. I NEVER fire one of my "collectibles". I have a couple of "shooter" carbines if I am so motivated. Can you imagine breaking the extractor on an IP??

    A firearm that's "too important" to shoot is like a Super-Model that's "too pretty" to kiss (or other things!)! The minute a firearm is consigned to "wall-hanger" status....something very important is lost! YMMV!
