I didn't see a Swedish
forum, but I also picked up a M42B this month. You really need to know where your thumb is at all times.

I do enjoy shooting my S&W Model 1915, original caliber was .455 but was rechambered to 45 Colt many years ago. Rather than use a heavy 45 Colt load, I decided to cut down some 45 Colt cases to 45 ACP length and try them out. Nice load using the 45 Colt short case ! Also install the FDL rear sight and a new S&W "N" frame mainspring, all those WW1 S&W revolvers have very thick and heavy mainsprings

That would be your "Purchase of th month" forum...nice catch. They shoot fine, just don't over load the ammo. Don't misplace your mag either.

I always wanted a nice US issue 1917 pistol but never managed to find one. All I got was an old offshore contract that was worn out. It sold OK though and I bought a Mod 25 instead...which was perfect. Those 1917 pistols are all but extinct around here...
