How are they deactivated ? The M1
appears to have the original finish, are they Savage or Auto Ord ?

Bolts are welded in place, barrel is plugged, upper and lower receivers are welded together. They were both made by Savage. I think they are both original finish, but the M1A1
is very worn, while the M1 is barely worn at all.

I had an M1
with the floating firing pin...many years ago. Long gone now though.

bolts had both notches

Too bad they have to be de-activated. I'm glad mine isn't. Anyone know where I can get some 20 round G.I. mags for a reasonable price?
