I have a Canadian
marked 1918 No.1 Mk III that could use a nice Canadian marked 1907 bayonet...
Just tossing out a cure for your neurosis,
....

'bout 3 years ago I started to move on the scarcer types in '07's like Wilkinson Pall Mall, Mole, Vickers and one to correctly match my 303s for date and military district mainly my 1916 5MD which the bayonet and scabbard were individual purchases and the cost of which was 3 times that of the rifle. Also got a, black bakelite gripped is it the 09 for the No.4 also a cruciform, so future hopes are funds pending is for a Sanderson/Nuebold and possibly a EFD or Lithgow
quillion. The 5md 1916 was a rather funny deal for a $100.00 as I asked the seller was it all their "Yep sure is" fine I will take it. Arrived with no mag, no safety and no sling so, the getting the correctly marked and period correct original replacement parts took years and cost rather dearly not considering the time trolling sites to get the stuff, the 1916 dated slings were the hardest to get ended up with a black and khaki one. It shoots pretty well but as I have others to shoot is only comes out for the ANZAC shoot we have.

Hi, I have a 9 17 Vickers 1907 and an 11/93 1888 Mole. Both are in good condition. Are they then more difficult to get and why? We have many of 1907 / 1888 coming up for sale here as they were used in anger here during the wars! We also received many 43 manufacture Lithgow
1907 bayonets both during and after the 2nd WW ( I have 3 and they are as new) However I have claimed they are not highly collectable as they continue to be available here The earlier pre 1922 manufacture are but these are not seen here often Who can give info on this?
