    it appears mine is bubba altered like yours was sir , ill be looking into performing your idea on my stock, AFTER i clean up my stock, fix the big grip back to nearer the ww2 look, an give all metal parts a basic cleaning / oiling and look over, and find a proper mag,

    I see the magazines are sold out where I got my extras. I got 2 spare a while back to go with the original. My dad Bubba'd the one I have since he was the only owner. I sent mine in to be repaired (I guess the crack by the bolt release button may be normal) and had a shooter's kit put on it. I found a scope and got a repo mount, sight cover and sling for it also. I really enjoy shooting it.
