    Try some standard velocity 40 grain ammo if you can find it and the groups will shrink even more. I shoot Fiocchi Super Match and it's excellent in all of the trainers from the Long P'14 to the No.8Mk.1.

    I currently require 2 different types of ammo for my No8's. One shoots well with either T22 or Geco and it was rubbish with the Eley Team; however the second rifle loves the Eley.
    My No2MkIV Lithgowicon is less fussy; but also good with the Eley Team ammo, but generally a couple of points behind the No8.
    As our Federation have just reduced the diameter size of targets for small bore military trainers by 50%; the group size is now really critical. The 10 is now 25mm (1") at 50 metres; it was 5cm (2")

    Yikes! That's quite a leap in diameter size reduction!
