Really abused Type 99

I liked the idea of a 30-06 but after researching it decided it wouldn't really be beneficial. It's not like I'm ever going to shoot it much anyway but cutting up more parts in the magazine well to make it work just didn't seem like the way to go. That was the deciding factor I think. Not that I couldn't do it but I really don't like destroying more parts. Barrel appears to be the same type, chrome lined, identical front sights.

I have a new bolt body on the way also so I just need a stock now along with the associated barrel bands, etc. Unbelievable how much some of them are bringing on Ebay. I could buy an entire rifle for those prices.
