40 years old is still in the key demographic for video games, Generations X and Y are the target audience, these are the generations that grew up with them as the new shiny thing in some form or another, be it arcades, early home consoles, and beyond.
I personally still tinker about with video games, not to the scale that I did years ago, but I can manage to find the time occasionally. Less in the summer, but moreso in the winter, in the summer I have 16-17 hours of good daylight to do outdoors stuff, in the winter I have less than 8 hours, so there isn't much ambition to be outdoors unnecessarily.Information
