Back in the day yes, a rifle would have both fitted, personally speaking, I have seen dozens of L1A1's fitted with the Hythe back site over the years, but never seen a single milsurp example fitted with any of the three variants of foresight post for some reason.
Yep, readily convertible back to standard spec without any issue.
