These are typical values for a top quality shootable gun. The one you are looking at is, more than likely, a rebuild; and seemingly a good one judging on the pics. The stock, more than likely, has been replaced, but it's in very good condition.

Any Garrand in this price range will be worth considerably more in 5 years, so don't have too much concern about value today -- it's likely your regret will be if you don't buy it.

I met the seller, and came back from my tour.
As supposed, this SA Garandicon is in very good shape and has only minor wear.I followed your advice and decided to book it.
(I'm waiting for a new license.)

Once I have it, I will come back to this thread.
    Thank you
    regards

    Hello,
As promised a long time ago, I'm back but not alone this time...
After a long waiting for a new license-permit, I completed the purchase yesterday.I took some pictures and indeed this Garandicon seems to be a pretty shooter.
    Best regards from Franceicon.

Looks to be a rifle that was cared for, we'd love to see a complete breakdown for interest but time will tell. Let us know how the shooting goes.
    Regards, Jim

    Thank you Jim,
Unfortunately I had no ammo ready for the Garandicon in my small 30-06 stock. The only ammo available is reloaded for my US Model of 1917, and it's certainly too hot for an semi-auto rifle.
    for your information:150gr bullet/48,45 gr of N140.
To all members: I hope that I'm not boring you with my pictures and post...
    Regards
