Sorry to hear that but good luck with your next one. I agree with Aragorn on this point and I've never purchased a firearm sight unseen.
Condition is purely subjective short of the CMP ratings and what may be mint condition to me might be a piece of junk to you and vice versa.
Used cars and firearms are 2 things that none but my own appraisal is valid on if I'm looking to make a purchase. - Bill
