rifle...note the angle she holds it at and only with fingers and one hand. Looks like she's either magic or she's been slinging beer steins at Octoberfest for a living...

More than likely that diminutive lass (along with the rest of the crew) was a resistance fighter and knew exactly how to wield a weapon. She and the others probably were crack shots and could handle pistols, rifles, and sub machine guns. If only this picture could talk.

I just mean the apparent strength the center woman holds the M1
rifle up with, not the carbine. Try it some time...for a woman it's a lot, they aren't light.
