You seem correct about the varying "5" fonts. The bolt, etc. of Dutchman's third example looks different than much of the rest of the carbine.

It may be a bit before I get this carbine home, too many things going on vying for funds! And most all of my trigger pulling is with long range handguns of late. Occupies a lot of attention and time. Thinking of trying a "Red 9" Mauser broomhandle for giggles, though. Trigger's not the best, and no windage correction, but the sight settings are just right, in theory!
