							That is an interesting question, look at the rest of his gear too, he seems to be lacking ammunition belts, and just has a satchel. 							Reising M55 SMG I think is a perfect fit for what we are seeing.

							I can't take all the credit here, I browsed for other discussions on the photograph and some sharp eyed person speculated it was an M50. I grabbed a stock photo of one from wikipedia, and it seems to fit the visual footprint. I would be maybe 90% sure.
