The Manufacturers number is a CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) Code which can be found on the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Web site. If you do a Google search of "CAGE Code search" you can find the web site. The "list" consistently changes from day to day. The CAGE Code was originally the FSC (Federal Supply Code) and FSCM (Federal Supply Code Manufacturer). Generally, a supplier of services is given an alpha-numeric number to identify the location of the provider of the services. Codes with all numerics are manufacturers. This policy has changed in recent years. One given is that any company location providing any services to the US military has a CAGE Code if they don't they are not a DoD contractor.
