    Same rules apply here. IIRC, Donald Trump's children were unable to vote in the NY primary for the same reason, they missed the registration deadline. Something similar happened to me in 2012, I moved to my current residence in April of that year and when the presidential election rolled around in November I went to cast my ballot only to discover I couldn't because I had neglected to update my address with voter registration.
