Did the 1903s that went through U.S. arsenals for a full refurb tend to have any markings on the receiver or other metal parts to say so or was it just the stock that was sometimes marked? British rifles that went through full refurb will sometimes have FTR followed by a date. Did the U.S. do something similar?

The '03s received only stock stamps of the arsenal and a separate firing proof under the grip if rebuilt. Some receivers were punch marked by the serial at various arsenals, but meanings aren't documented.
Garands received Electro Pen dates on the receiver legs under the wood by a few arsenals in the '60s.
