L32394 is actually a BSA serial number, and while the Rings do show a reinforced rear arm similar to that found on Long Branch rings they are actually of British manufacture, as they do not show other LB characteristics.

Here are some surviving wartime Canadian sniping rifles in Canada that I have access to:
1944 68L3200 with mismatched 1943 REL C No. 32 MK. I scope SN 445-C (Rifle was in Indian service as it has an Ishapore screw)
1944 71L0555 with matching in service British scope No. 32 MK. II SN 11189 with matching No. 8 MK. I case (Set is ex-Belgian military, likely NATO aid from Canada) Original Canadian REL scope SN not known as the butt was changed.
1945 71L0573 with mismatched REL C No. 32 MK. II scope SN 596-C Original scope for this rifle was 690-C. Butt was changed but original No. 8 MK. I case has been located in another collection and it has rifle and scope serial numbers.
1944? 74L0075 with matching bracket and matching Lyman No. 32 TP MK. I (Lyman Alaskan) scope SN 4553S (repatriated from Australia)
