Hi All:

I am returning from a long hiatus - was pretty active when it was Jouster. I see some of the same names, for example Rick the Librarian and Warren (I wonder why I recognized him, but this time we don't have to share).
My interest is militaria, and the rifles are American and to a lesser extent WWII British. The earliest US are two Krags, the latest a Korean war Garand. The British range from a P14 through a L42A1 kit, but are mostly varieties of Mk 4 Infantry. They are a mix of restored, shooters, and "Like new" .
I am by no means an expert but will help in any way.
I chanced upon this site when trying to find out what my L42A1 was worth these days. (No - I am not selling)

Hello, I'm new to this board and had a question about a Luger that belonged to my dad during WWII. The gun was left in a shed which went up in flames. I found the gun in my moms cedar chest and decided to get advice if or not it can get it restored or just leave it the way it is. Anyone with their expert opinion(s) are welcome. I just don't know what to do with it?

Hi folks. John from middle Tennessee area. Glad to find this place. I've got piles of gun parts and always looking for help identifying. Love the military stuff from Ishapores to AR-15s. Dad was in Vietnam in 67 so I collect some stuff from that era as well. Always thankful to our service folks, police, fire and all who our in harms way. Hope to meet some good gun loving folks. Hey . Name Nobush derived from just lost my hunting / shooting property due to it being put up for sale . I haven't hunted since around 1978 ??. Just getting back into it , planning on doing some / most of my hunting with my 1916 Enfield sporter and my 1965 2a1 762 / 308 .
I bought the 1916 partly cause it was from a friend and dirt cheap , and my Father fought in the First World War with the 148 th Highlanders . I bought the 2a1 cause it was full wood , nice shape , and has a big more bang then the 303

Hello,

My name is Frans and I have a beautifull Eddystone P17.

It is in a very good condition, as far as I can see all parts and the stock are original. The barrel is replaced and has some British proof marks dating 1971. Not sure if the barrel is fitted during that year. It is a very accurate shooter and I joined the forum to get more information about the Parker Hale sights, PH-5B.

Hi ... am a new member and an advanced collector of milsup weapons. Live in Virginia, retired Federal Govt officer. Seeking HELP from knowledgeable P14 experts.

I own a remarkable .303 P14 rifle, made by Winchester, in absolutely perfect condition. I bought it from a well-known dealer, who states it (and several other similar P14 rifles) came from the REMINGTON collection. I understand that 1.2 million P14s were made by all 3 US manufactures for Britain - before all production was shifted to the Model 1917 "Enfields."

I an trying to find out what happened to all the .303's shipped to the British. Does anyone know ? Pls email me at hphart@hughes.net, or respond on MilSurps. (problem with latter is I am not sure I can find a posted response.) Very grateful for assistance.

hello everyone. I have been doing some research for a collection I inherited (and still have a ton to go through) and this sight has been very informative. Sorting through the bayonets, vintage ammo, carbine mags, and parts has been fun, but very tiresome.
