    as i said in my post.
    i just looked at an early SC rifle, a guy had be clean, safety check ect. for a rifle he has owned some 30 years.
    it had a G with no triangle, and a drawing number on the other side..
    the only thing on his rifle that wast SC or oiginal was the buttplate, he had changed it to a 1912 SA checkered type, and still had the SC buttplate at home.
    his rifle was polly one the nicest original rifles iv seen, sans the buttplate.
    pinned SC stock, ect.
