Thanks for the reply's. I am aware of what a restored rifle is verses a original rifle. The rifle in question is a 100% original rifle and still has the grease on the metal from the factory. We have not confirmed a exact price but we are talking around $4,000. I talked with Scott Duff and he said he personally would not take less then $4,000 for such a rifle. But I realize he is capable of getting prices for things that others can not. This is why I was curious what those here who still buy and sell these have seen prices at. The point of this thread is not to determine if the rifle is correct or not. I will have the help of other collectors to do that. I am merely asking the question, what is a 1944 Garandthat is 100% original and in great condition worth? Thanks again for the help.
