Did the military ever rebuild a SC with a Remington bolt? Thank you.

If a replacement bolt was required in repair, the first one that head spaced from the 'bolt bin' was the one installed. As Remington had large 'spares' contracts, the odds were that it would be a Remington, but could be a "X" (S-C), "CC", "BS" or any of the '03 bolts. A bolt body was a bolt body.

I think Springfield Sporters has new S-C bolts still in the grease. Give them a call.
