What sort of solvent is used with suncorite to thin the paint for spraying etc and for cleaning up equipment afterwards? Is it a cellulose type of thinners or some other specialist thinner?

Peter will correct me if I am wrong, or let us know if there are other diluents, but I've always believed you can use either cellulose thinners or meths. I have used both successfully, but much prefer meths as it is less messy & easier to use, at least in my experience.

Meths or denatured alcohol, xylene.

I put my paints in my handy "Red Devil" paint shaker (same one as the photo, but not as tidy!) and the rest is easy. A few years back the OHS maniacs took a dislike to non-enclosed paint shakers and the old standbys were turfed out en masse. Built to last forever they were, and they do.
