1903 mark 1 receiver finish
I picked up this mark 1 1123543 barrel date 3-19 it has a Remington rear sight and a SC bolt C that I changed out to a B&S bolt) the stock is a regular 03 stock with 2 faint cartouches and a S on the tip. the receiver is a shinny black and has a mark1 cutoff spindle the barrel is green park I was hoping to get some opinions from the picks if this is original mark 1 finish and if the trigger is a mark 1 trigger also could somebody check the serial for a SRS hit thanks

No SRS match - Mark I matches tend to be pretty rare on SRS.

Receiver finish was black phosphate and appears correct on this rifle. Both the trigger and cut off are correct for Mark I, and apparently original to the rifle. The stock assembled to Mark I rifles had a clearance cut at the ejection port, which does not show in the images provided, but appears to have possibly been sanded out.

finish on the pictured rifle is not original, and was done by the Greeks.
from what i have found was black oxide {hot salts blue} over the old finish

I have handled m1s that had the greek black park and to me this rifle did have the same finish also it did not have any of the hall parks of a greek return. So I emailed John Beard
the pics and he emailed back that the finish appeared correct. If I can determine that the finish is correct would it be worth while to look for the correct rear sight and bolt I know a correct stock if you could even find one would be very expensive
